An original activity combining construction and cooking !

The Food Truck Challenge: What is it?

This team building combines two activities: a construction part and a culinary part. Easier to please everyone!

On the commercial side, each team will not only have to build a large Food Truck facade, but also find a name, design a logo and choose a menu that will satisfy the future customers.

On the kitchen side, a draw will determine the theme of your Food Truck (burgers, tacos, waffles, crepes or sushi).

Team construction, team kitchen or team marketing, this challenge is designed so that everyone is involved whether it is for the construction and painting of the facade or during the different stages of making the dishes.

The teams will be judged on different criteria to proclaim the big winner of this team building.

Activity

For the construction part:

Each team will have at their disposal large cardboards, paint, adhesive tape, stapler, cutter and other decorative elements.

You will have to think about how to create a solid structure that can fit into the kitchen area, decorate it tastefully, write the name of your Food Truck, put your logo on it, and present your menu.

For the cooking part:

You will have to create an appetizing menu and prepare the dishes that will be served to your “customers”. An area with many ingredients will be at your disposal throughout the activity to garnish your preparations. You must create one savory piece and one sweet piece per food truck, in sufficient quantity to meet demand.

You will have at your disposal different types of tableware for the presentation of your dishes (different colors of napkins, plate shapes, packaging, etc.)

Once the event is over, the Jury will elect the big winner based on different criteria: the facade of your truck, the presentation and the taste of your dishes!
